The function of the seminars (or travaux dirigés, also conducted in French) is to provide an opportunity for fuller discussion of particular aspects of the course material. The seminars provide the occasion for student participation and a forum for any questions or problems which the students may be experiencing. They also provide an opportunity for practice in French legal methodology and are the occasion for individual student presentations (or exposés).

There are podcasts of lectures on academic skills on the KLS Skills Hub Moodle page, and other sessions will be run by the Skills Hub throughout the year. These can help you to get the best out of your classes and assessments.

You are welcome to discuss your understanding of the module content with seminar leaders during their office hours. However, seminar leaders will not read/correct any draft work or plans.
