The turn over for 2013(two thousand and thirteen) is : one million six hundred and fifty thousand euros.
We are a subsidiary of the head office located in Germany (in PUTZBRUNN, near Munich).
As I’ve already said, there are 15 people working in MEGATRON Allinges.
I was working with my mum who is the human ressources and administrative director ; my desk was next to my mum’s, and in the same office there were also the purchasing manager and the sales person in charge of components but I had nothing to do with the last person.
During my intership, my tutor was the purchasing manager, Virginie BERNARD. I met each member of the company and I also met the manager twice, when he came from Germany (he tries to come two or three times a year).
During my internship, I was asked to deal with orders (components, furniture, etc.).
For example, anyone from the company can send me an order by email ; what I need is the product code, when they want it delivered and who it is for (for a customer, the stock etc.) ; I have a commercial management software which contains the list of suppliers. Sometimes there are more than one supplier for a product so, I have to ask for the price, before choosing the supplier.
Finally, I also had to produce the delivery slip which is sent with the product.
On the whole, I was lucky and I didn’t experience any major problems ; It is a small company was easy for me to ask if I had a question. However, sometimes it was difficult for me to deal with incomplete emails (without supplier or without the code). In that case I could easily ask the help of the purchasing manager.
