with the Pittsburgh Steelers jersey retorts that he lived there for four years and had never felt scared of any types of disasters. The woman is keeping the silence, listening the conversation, however, the man seated in front of her seems like he is not really paying attention to the discussion, as he keeps typing on his phone.

The other table looks like a couple, a woman about thirty-five years old and a man around fifty years old. They both seem in love, and have been kissing pretty often since they were seated. They also are right next to each other, sharing every plate like a salmon carpaccio, a pan-seared foie gras, and, a crepe that my co-worker was making earlier. The woman has a Louis Vuitton purse that she hangs on the table with a golden hook, it seems that she does not want her purse touching the floor. She keeps drinking her glass of white wine, letting a red mark on the glass at each sip, due to her lipstick. She appears wealthy, wearing only gold jewelery on her fingers and wrists. She has long brown hair down to her shoulders, a black top, light green pants and some black ballerinas on her feet. She is talking to the man about her drawing class, she has to choose a theme per day and draw how she feels about it. Today she chose “under the water”. The man seems very interested in the conversation, he is staring at her, smiling. He is wearing a dark grey suit with a plain black tie, a silver watch on his left wrist. He has only a glass of water in front of him but has not touched it for the past six minutes. I notice that he is looking a lot of the time briefly around him, glancing at the other table, the decoration of the restaurant, his watch, me.

The difficulty in this observation was at first to have different look on the restaurant. I am used to coming here almost everyday but not for the purpose to observe, so taking a break for twenty minutes is unusual for me, especially at 2pm. But the fact that I am familiar with this place helped me to understand more what I was observing in this environment.
