When you practice the sport as a profession, money is needed to pay expenses. But it's true that athletes, especially football players earn too much money, always more and more money. Too even, for many. According to a recent survey, 96% of the French believe that the footballers of the Ligue 1 are overpaid while there are a lot of poor people who suffer of famine and poverty in the world and this is really outrageous. More money led many derivatives to gain even more (doping, under the table, etc...). And this vehicle pollution for some sporting events...
So long live amateur sport and for fun?
Yes but sporting events broadcast on television are among the most watched programs. They are epic and exciting as the Olympics. Sports as football, formula 1, tennis, athletics, cycling that are mostly shown on television, are being viewed and give pleasure to millions of people. This difference in treatment comes from the negative sports image that some find that it is more noble to learn a text than to run after a ball, to drive a car. Team Hoyt is not noble? The problem is that you are happy with the show offered by players or athletes but we do not accept that they be well paid but Facebook users do not talk about the salary of Mark Zuckerberg. As if the top athletes really were the only ones to Pocket high salaries. Some statesmen or bosses of big companies also have very comfortable incomes, and they do not provide for as many strong emotions of millions of people. So for me the top athletes are not too paid. Sport has become a very lucrative business with companies of high finance, I think at Real Madrid which is the richest club in the sports worlds are the main players in these events so they are paid all simply in relation to what they bring to clubs or the people looking at them.
Do you prefer to give higher wages to Michael Jordan, the highest-paid athlete but makes dream and gives hope to the world or our president Holland who takes away the smile over the years?
You must know what you want!
