Provisional Grading System for this course

Concordia University uses a letter grade system in the calculation of a student’s Grade Point Average (GPA). For convenience, however, most faculty in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment apply a numerical grade system in addition to the letter grade. The numerical base of the letter grade system, as tabulated below in relation to the GPA, will be applied in this course. Students should note that instructors in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment reserve the right to adjust the final reported grades so that under normal circumstances no more than 25% of students registered in a course receive an outstanding grade.
