There scene really touching in the moving. First, like the scene where Edward come home when every one looking for him. He find Kim, who was waiting for him. He feels compelled to keep a distance with people that he loved because he is dangerous. After, ther are the end wich is really sad and dramatic. The two characters both know that they will never see each other again. Kim save the life of her lover and pretend that she kiled him. Edwards come back in his castle forever and will be alone for the rest of his life. IN the scen, Kim say to Edward that she loves him, which is cause the stronger feeling that he had never feeling. And when he see her go away, he know that it's over, that his life is over because he will come back in is mention.

In gothic literature, the reader is meant to go through strong or extreme emotions as well as the character. It is actually what the reader of gothic literature is after: to be confronted with strong emotions he wouldn’t go through in real life. The reader of gothic literature is after a good thrill,
this is to say, a good sensation of fear. In literature, this emotional response to a narrative is called mood. It’s the reader’s feeling.
Mood is created not only by the story itself, but also by the way it is told. In a gothic novel, the words or expressions the writer chooses to describe the setting or to express the character’s emotions add a lot to the fearful mood.
In conclusion the gothic is genre really complete which associate love and fear. The fear is representate by the atmosphere bleak and gloomy, the décor which is often an abbey, an mention, an castle, etc, and the characters. The reader look for sensation.
