Now, and it hurts to say but I am going to talk about the French stereotypes … When I arrived in Santa Barbara, I meet a lot of persons who talk to me about the French stereotypes. First, the impoliteness. Apparently French people are impolite. I can tell you that is completely wrong. We are really polite it’s just that French people don’t speak English very well so it’s why they could look unpleasant. English is really less speaking so we can’t answer you sometimes. And always had a kind of battle between Grand Britain and France, maybe the explication of the French English bad level. We also have a lot of courtesies rules how we are obligated to do to be good seen. There is also the “dirty French”, like if all the French people are dirty … It’s not because we created the perfume that we are dirty, for example I take two showers per day. And to finish the “French stereotypes”, the “beret, marine cloth and wine guy”. We are not like that, it’s just all the famous stereotypes in one guy, it’s like if I say all Americans are like Uncle Sam. We eating baguette and drinking wine but we are not all with a beret and a marine cloth.
I think it was a lot of examples that witch can say that the French culture is one of the richest and most beautiful culture than existed in the world and I am glade and pride to say that I am French.
