The case is Tiffany and Co. v. Costco Wholesale Corp., 01:13-cv-01041, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York (Manhattan)
My comment
Counterfeits are a real problem for companies of luxuries, because many person want to have handbags, leaves doors or even big brand cheap clothes.
Counterfeiting is only done in fashion, but now is done in the cigarettes.
When Customs seize counterfeits, they destroy all without exception in order to stop this illegal market.
Counterfeiting of medicines can be dramatic for people who consume because they are not made by professionals and are made with less health and safety standard
The risks are enormous, that are made or you have counterfeit because those making the risk of prison and one who has can risk a fine of twice the actual price of the product.
