In 1968, the quartet recorded a double album White Album, which became legendary through the tubes "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da", "Back in USSR", "Blackbird" and "Helter Skelter". But success quickly generates pride among musicians who start do not get along, especially Lennon and McCartney, whose conflicts hinder the group. It is also at this time that John Lennon discovers new artistic horizons with his wife Yoko Ono and deviates from the Beatles. The four English left behind eight years of madness and hundreds of tubes.

The life of the group is however not completed because: since their separation, record sales and derivatives continues. In addition, fans find their happiness in the solo careers of each of the Beatles. If Ringo Starr is rather quiet, and began the film, the other musicians succeed the challenge of a new career. George Harrison will continue to write and record until his recent death, on 29 November 2001. John Lennon, meanwhile, continues to work with his wife Yoko and engages fully against violence and war. The birth of their son in 1975, away from the media, and it takes until 1980 that a new kind Lennon Double Fantasy album. But December 8, 1980, a mentally unbalanced kills the full New York. The most brilliant career remains of Paul McCartney, who, after founding the group Wings with his wife Linda, has had a distinguished solo career. More than sixty years, luck and talent have made it the only true surviving Beatles.
